Mic Fright

My first self directed film 'Mic Fright' follows a young girl who externalises her tension into a monster who refrains her from letting her voice out. Through unconventional tactics, she powers through her panic attack and manages to perfrom the song and causing the monster to fade away.

Based on previous experiences with stage fright and anxiety, I wanted to emphasise the scary feeling of choking up and hyper fixating on the crowd as part of habit. While this was not my most polished film, this was an excellent lesson in storytelling directing.
